The Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists (TBPG) is committed to making its website accessible to all users. Our goal is to help our visitors easily find the information they seek in a format they can use.  Our requirements are intended to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws.  Pursuant to 1 TAC Rule 206.50 and 1 TAC Chapter 213, TBPG reviews and tests new web pages and applications for compliance with the Worldwide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.  The results of these reviews are incorporated into our pages and applications.
Major reports and other publications that are on the website are generally available in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) or another accessible format. A descriptive text equivalent is provided for images and other non-text elements, aiding users who listen to the content of the site by using a screen reader, rather than reading the site.

TBPG welcomes comments on how to improve the site’s accessibility for users with disabilities. If you use assistive technology and the format of any material on our website interferes with your ability to access the information, please contact TBPG’s Accessibility Coordinator at 512/936-4408.  To enable us to respond in a manner most helpful to you, please indicate the nature of your accessibility problem, the preferred format in which to receive the material, the web address of the requested material, and your contact information.
