Texan of the Year Finalist

Dallas Morning News recently named its finalists for 2007 Texan of the Year, and Texas geologist Bill Mullican is in the top ten.  In an article written on December 18, 2007, William F. Mullican, III, PG, was hailed as Texas’ top water planner and as an “expert at explaining the intricacies of drought preparation in a way that brings about results in Austin and Washington.”

Mullican, the Deputy Executive Administrator at the Texas Water Development Board, was recently appointed to a national water and environment advisory group assembled by the Environmental Protection Agency.  He has been licensed by the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists since 2003.
